The Plan of Salvation

We believe there are 5 steps in the Plan of Salvation based on the scriptures. They are to hear the Gospel, believe in Christ, repent of their sins, confess faith in Christ, and be Baptized. Below are scriptures that support each step.

Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Acts 15:7 (NKJV)
7 And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.

John 8:24 (NKJV)
24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)
6 But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Luke 13:3 (NKJV)
3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

Acts 17:30 (NKJV)
30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,

Acts 8:35-37 (NKJV)
